GENERATOR CARE BLOG POST:

Protect Your Investment With Load Banking

Most of our commercial and industrial clients already know the critical importance of load banking, but I wanted to take a moment and give a brief introduction to the practice as it can dramatically enhance your investment's lifespan and performance.

Load banking artificially boosts the load placed on your generator, usually to about the height of the generator's output capacity. This helps erase any effects of wet tacking or other buildup. It also helps verify that your generator is acutely capable of performing at its peak output rate.

We recommend load banking every 12 months but your dedicated Account Manager can work with you to review your work history, bi-annual run times and system needs so you can make an informed decision for your unique needs.
